Chinese mobile company Huawei entered in India with the launch of four smartphones, Huawei new smartphones are Ascend Y511, G700, G610, and Y320. The four range from the low end to the mid range and the G-series phones are phablets, also Y series phones are of a more manageable size.
The G700 and G610 can be listed in the "phablet" category and the Ascend Y511, Y320 are for those people who do not comfortable with gigantic touchscreens. TPrice of G700 is Rs 17,999 and the G610 carries price starts from Rs 12,999. The Ascend Y320 and Y511 are priced at Rs 6,499 and Rs 7,499 respectively. They are available through offline as well as online both.
The Huawei Ascend G700 comes with a 5-inch IPS display with featuring a 1280×720 resolution. On the camera front, 8MP back camera and a 1.3MP front camera. The 8GB onboard storage is expandable up to 32GB via external microSD card slot. The Ascend G610 also has a 5-inch IPS display but with a bit lower qHD resolution of 540×960 PX. It comes with a 5MP camera and gets 4GB onboard storage with 32 GB external SD card support.
The hardware and software of both G700, G610 is same, both have a 1.2GHz quad core processor, run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, fuelled with a 2150mAh battery. The connectivity include 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and GPS with A-GPS facility.
The Huawei Ascend Y511 comes with a 4.5-inch 854 x 480 resolution display, a 3MP back camera, 0.3MP front camera, 1730mAh battery. It is powered by a dual-core 1.3Ghz processor of MediaTek 6572. The 4GB onboard storage and it can be expanded up to 32 with a microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean available in two color black and white.
