The One of the best mobile company, Nokia, launched the second season of 'Your wish is my app' contest, in India  on Friday where the company will make people the resource  of ideas from in India and know what  kind of apps they would like to be made.This contest will be done now  for the Windows Phone platform only. 

 Chief executive officer, Nokia India ,P Balaji ,said that entries for the contest will be required via social networking site eg.Twitter, Facebook , text messages and several on-ground activities to make the people aware about this contest  'Your wish is my app' contest. 

“Nokia has seen a 266% increase in the number of monthly downloads from the Windows app store and eight times increase in revenue from operator billing”, P.Balaji has said in a meeting.

This is decided that the top new app idea will get Rs 10 lakh, while two runner up app ideas will get Rs 5 lakh and Rs 2 lakh respectively. 

Last year, the company advertised about this type of contest on Twitter and radio still it got  38,000 app ideas.From 38,000 apps, near about 1,200 have been developed into apps for the Windows Phone app store. And the company will be launching around 300 more such apps in February. People  who gave ideas for top 10 apps were awarded by the financial incentives. 

The Chief executive officer , Balaji is expecting around 50,000  new app ideas by end of March. While 4,000 ideas will be made available for Windows app developers.There will be  final 30 apps shortlisted will be showcased in a television series in the form of reality show.
